An other new FX for Catchyoo: Magnet FX

Catchyoo’s library of FX offers the best choice for partners and customers and it is even richer today with the new Magnet FX which lets users create interactive campaigns in minutes. When users enter the interactive space millions of particles come to them. Particles can be modified in shapes, patterns, size, quantity, speed, colors, etc…

As for all Catchyoo FX, it is totally Flash free. Flash is a great technology for web but is not adapted to interactive OOH. It is complex to create, expensive, rigid. Catchyoo’s philosophy is all the opposite so that partners can concentrate on business, not on technology.

Here is a first example of Magnet FX:

That was definitely the case last Friday for Valrhona‘s party, “Les Cabosses”.

Interactive Notebook made with Catchyoo Sprites

This is a second example of content made from Catchyoo’s Sprites new FX.

A notebook is open, a kid has written words on it, objects are around: a candy, cards, paint. All of them are interactive: the cards start animating, the candy sparkles, the paint leaks…

On the Notebook, words are made interactive. touch the word house and the house appears in 3D, touch the word balloon and it jumps. The castle drawing morph into the word "castle". All words are made interactive.

Beyond the educative purpose, it shows how the Sprites FX can let users create their own campaigns with maximum flexibility, using various elements like 3D objects, movies, words, sounds, special effects…

Here again, not a single line of Flash, not a single line of code…

Catchyoo comes with a new FX: SPRITES

Catchyoo is enhanced today with a new FX: SPRITES.

SPRITES lets Catchyoo partners and clients use multiple animations on
the same preset, position them accurately, dynamically change their
size and speed.

The below example shows a map of Japan where clouds are animated.
Each region is identified by its names written with clouds, slightly moving.
When triggered, the clouds morph into an other shape and a quick footage plays.
A cloud overcast comes when the system is not used.

It lets partners create various 3D animations.

This requires no Flash, not a single line of code. It can be applied to
all purposed: product presentations, education, advertising,
interactive design on floors, walls, tables, mock-up, etc…

Computer vision technologies, interactivity, are not limited to advertising for big brands and making of the dynamic signage a viable industry.

Computer vision also enters strongly into the realm of museums.

Transparency, touchless, natural interaction with exhibits, contextual digital environment are key factors to improve museums’ relationship with their public.

Interactive tables, interactive walls, immersive floors, plain objects which become multimedia tools,… all those are possible  with computer vision technologies from LM3LABS.

LM3LABS is a pioneer and leader in this domain with reference like Le Louvre.

Here is a presentation about those solutions.
