A few weeks ago TV Asahi, one of the largest TV channel in Japan, featured Catchyoo and Ubiq’window in a program focused on the Future of Advertising.

They started analyze what makes us sensitive to advertising: amazement, surprise, and interactivity.
The casting went to Catchyoo and Ubiq’window because they are the perfect examples of those next-gen advertising tools: engaging people in a new relationship with brands and products outside the tiny screen of the PC or mobile.
TV Asahi picked real life examples, shooting Catchyoo installations in Parco shopping centers, one of the largest superstore chain in the world.
On the Ubiq’window side, they selected the Sony-Ericsson installation which associate transparency to touchless interactivity.

Computer vision technologies, interactivity, are not limited to advertising for big brands and making of the dynamic signage a viable industry.

Computer vision also enters strongly into the realm of museums.

Transparency, touchless, natural interaction with exhibits, contextual digital environment are key factors to improve museums’ relationship with their public.

Interactive tables, interactive walls, immersive floors, plain objects which become multimedia tools,… all those are possible  with computer vision technologies from LM3LABS.

LM3LABS is a pioneer and leader in this domain with reference like Le Louvre.

Here is a presentation about those solutions.

Explanation in Movie

October 18th, 2007 | Posted in Advertising, Catchyoo, Catchyoo’s Installations , Movies | Comments Off

Catchyoo’s partner, cmpunch, goes a step further in their explanations about the value of interactive signage with this movie with movie embedded explanations.

It is in Japanese, so some explanations are necessary. The site is the new Parco shopping mall in Urawa, in Tokyo’s suburb. The installed Catchyoo is a cluster of 2 systems communicating together to create a large seamless interactive zone.

Cmpunch left the original soundtrack and we can hear very positive feedbacks from visitors, like the usual Japanese "sugoii" which means something like "Wow".

Then, they clearly explain what is value for people around. People play with the system but all visitors around the interactive space watch the space… and the ad.

This ad space is for rent and sponsors who want to advertise right on this unique place, or in other Parco places can contact LM3LABS.
