Dizzy?

December 12th, 2006 | Posted in Catchyoo, Movies | No Comments »

Our thirst post in the Xmas series uses Catchyoo`s Reveal Mode 2 FX to make mushrooms looks very hallucinogenic.

Walking visitors transform the color of the picture as they move on floor. This can be apply to all other images of course. This is only an example.

This kind of FX inevitably attracts the eyes of users to messages. it is also a great tool for space design (shops, showroom, events,…).

This FX can be easily used with Catchyoo in cluster.

Catchyoo can be put in cluster with seamless junctions between screens making a huge interactive space. There is no limits in size for some FX like this one.

Careful viewers will have notice the message on the FX. This is a hint about what is coming up in 2007: a franchisee program… more to come on this. But you can already inquire.

Singapore in Minority Report`s world

December 8th, 2006 | Posted in Movies, Ubiqwindow's Installations | No Comments »

Singapore`s Science Center finalized yesterday the installation of a "Minority Report"-like system based on 3 Ubiq’window 120 AirStrike.

The installation`s design is based on our previous similar installation for NTT Inter Communication Center in Tokyo (visible in Tokyo until end of March 2007).

Ubiq`window AirStrike is integrated into the gate which separates visitors from the screen. Visitors simply point at the screen and use their bare hand in the air to interact with content and presentation. Ubiq`window tracks their hand and fingers in the air and analyze their motions in real time.

The value of Ubiq`window is to offer interactivity to very large screen, contact-less, distantly and minimum hardware footprint. This makes Ubiq`window the perfect tool for museums, showrooms, prestigious public venues where design is paramount and which welcome large numbers of visitors.

Ubiq`window AirStrike is also used by 3D content professional users (car industry,…), real estate companies, advertisers, event companies as any content running on a PC can be used with bare hand in the air.

No other technologies can provide the same result with the same ease of use and installation.

This great installation was managed by Belinda and AJ in Singapore.

The Feather Ball

December 7th, 2006 | Posted in Catchyoo, Movies | No Comments »

We start a series of postings showing Catchyoo in action for the Xmas season.

This one is for Singapore where a plain picture becomes interactive thanks to Catchyoo`s Figure FX. Real magic effect on visitors.

Feather mysteriously hide a secret glowing object. A bright glowing heart. When users pass over the feather ball, it explodes to reveal the heart (…and message)and re-shape once the user is gone.

Without users, the feather ball moves by itself as animated by a mysterious inner life, inviting passing people to reveal the secret.

Discovery is a key factor of a successful advertising. When traditional digital signage limits to sending message in the dark, interactive advertising create a unique relationship with them, while passing the right messages to them.

"Ok  but the budget is not the same". Well creating the Feather Ball advertising takes between 8 to 10 minutes in total. No Flash, no programming…

Next of the series tomorrow…
